Originally from Suriname, a Dutch colony in South America, Frances Barrow-Lewis came to the United States at the age of 18 to study romance languages at Georgetown University.
Shortly after graduating with her bachelor’s degree she began working at British Airways as a sales associate in the company's New York City office and ascended to become a sales executive specializing in the entertainment industry. In that position she managed a division of 200 agents, and oversaw multi-million dollar contracts for clients ranging from Madonna to Boeing.
After a decades-long successful career in sales at British Airways Frances retired in 2015. After a year off spending quality time with her family, she was drawn to real estate, which has proven to be a natural transition.
Frances enjoys working with and meeting new people, and cherishes the moment clients find their dream home. Frances is a new addition to The Gosselin Group. She understands that buying a property is a personal—and sometimes confusing—experience, and can’t wait to put her skills to use for you whether you are a first-time buyer or are looking to upgrade to a larger home.
Frances is fluent in Dutch and Spanish, and in her free time enjoys traveling, reading mystery novels, volunteering in the community and spoiling her first grandchild, Harrison. She co-owned a popular small restaurant in South Orange, NJ from 1997 to 2001. She is also a licensed notary public in New Jersey and New York.
“I won’t just find you a house,” Frances says. “I’ll find you a home.”
